PROBLEM: Americans love road trips. Americans tolerate flights. But Americans rarely take train rides...except in Europe, for some reason?
INSIGHT:
“America the Beautiful” isn’t just an idiom; it’s the truth.
IDEA:
Showcase “European” beauty right here in the U.S. 

SOLUTION:
“Find Abroad Aboard,” a campaign for Amtrak. 


EXTENSION!

We placed ads in bookstores, magazines, and on streets near libraries because readers are most likely to romanticize travel. 

To keep the ball rolling, we’ll place “Amtrak Alcoves” in bookstores and cafes. 

Each “Alcove” will feature real Amtrak seats and live views of train windows. Hidden speakers will play ambient, region-specific music.  

A sticker on the table will encourage UGC.
