MIRACULOUS.LINGO

PROBLEM: Most fans of French cartoon “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir” don’t know French, forcing them to waits weeks, sometimes months, for episodes to come out in their own languages.
INSIGHT:
Fans don’t actually wait — they resort to pirated content on sketchy websites to get their fix.
IDEA:
Use Duolingo to reward fans for learning French.

SOLUTION:
“Miraculous.lingo,” Duolingo’s own “sketchy” website that lets fans trade French lessons for early access to new episodes .

THE SITE.
Fun fact: this project was inspired by my unending love for this silly little show. The mockup includes Easter eggs and references fans know and love.

Another fun fact: “Miraculous.lingo” comes from the naming format most sketchy websites use   (“miraculous” followed by a period and string of letters). Not that I would know anything about that, of course....

SOCIAL.
Duolingo will launch the site on all social channels. As fans start getting the hang of the language, Duolingo will release spoilers in French on IG and Tiktok.
