MIRACULOUS.LINGO

To help “Miraculous” superfans get more out of what they love, Duolingo will trade new episodes for French lessons.

Most fans of French cartoon “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir” don’t know French.

They wait weeks, sometimes months, for episodes to come out in their own languages, often resorting to pirated content on sketchy websites.

Duolingo will introduce a “sketchy” alternative of its own, providing fans who learn French early access to new episodes.

Quick video mockup of the website ft. a bunch of references to the show

Fun fact: this project was inspired by my unending love for this silly little show and its silly little middle school love story.

Instagram caption and spoiler (released in French to reward fans who practice).
Fun fact: the caption is taken directly from the theme song with some ~emoji flair~

Even more fun fact: “Miraculous.lingo” comes from the naming format most sketchy websites use   (“miraculous” followed by a period and string of letters). Not that I would know anything about that., of course....
